Investigation And Analysis On Demand For Care Services Of Perinatal Women In City Of Ji'Nan

BackgroundPregnancy is the important event in a woman's lifetime, the process directly affects the family quality and the population quality of the whole society.women have to undergo a very strong physical and emotional experience,It is a strong physiological and psychological stress process. In China, the majority of the early mothers,who have no birth experience, more cause a range of emotional responses. Along with social progress and health care improved,legal and self-protection awareneses of the maternal is also increasing.They select medical progroms from passive recipient to inintiative choosen. Therefore provided physical, psychological, social round services to maternal, especially personalized service more and more developed the trends of medical research in the field of obstetrics.Sources and MethodsIt is a questionnaire survey, the 300 maternal are selected from Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Ji'nan City, Third People's Hospital of Ji'nan and Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Zhangqiu City by trained investigators. The survey time is from June to August in 2008, and the maternal all had successful term vaginal delivery and no obstetric complications. Neonatal Apgar score≥8 points, birth weight > 2500g. They should complete "survey of perinatal care and service needs 3-5 days after delivery. Establish a database using SPSS 13.0, use descriptive statistical analysis and single factor analysis and multiple regression analysis after the date checked and verification.Main results1. It is found that the highest score of all scales is "inform the health of newborn immediately after delivery " from the overall demand for maternal perinatal. And "guiding delivery skills throughout the labor", "explaining nursing knowledge of newbown after delevery", "allowing family members to accompany after delivery","the medical staffs'encouraging and praising throughout the labor" are in their turn.2. The mainly psychological and demand of prenatal maternal are health knowledge of prenatal counseling, prenatal education, they have diverse needs of prenatal education of its form. Meet and visit with the midwife antenatal maternity ward also got high scores. The mainly demand during intra-partum is delivery skills guidance, and the mainly demand during postnatal are the informing of the health of newborns and knowledge of newborn care guide.3. The physiological needs during perinatal period are mainly the various needs of intra-partum, the guiding delivery skills during the labor, to provide drinking water during and after childbirth, helping eating and personal care and cleaning to help alleviate the pain and so on. The psychological needs focus on the company of family members during intra-partum and postnatal, the company of midwives, and midwives' attitude and work style. Perinatal environment and equipment requirements are mainly the clean of ward environment and comfortable beds. Meanwhile, the privacy facilities are also very concerned about.4. the younger groups have more demand, the higher education group have more demand, more revenue have more demand, the demand of primipara intensity is greater than the maternal. Strategies and Recommendations(1) Increase the scope and form of health education, let health education run through the perinatal; (2) The improvement of obstetric and delivery environment, increasing the setting of a single ward and maternal privacy should be focused on; (3) Strengthen midwifery education of professional quality and the function of multiple role of midwives; (4) To meet the physical needs by making good maternal intra-partum life care to enhance comfort; (5) Focus on the psychological experience during intra-partum and postnatal, to promote delivery services which is accompanied by midwives and family; (6) Focus on strengthening the knowledge and guidance of neonatal care, and promote maternal and child health service extension; (7) To establish a good physician-patient relationship, and promote good communication between doctors and patients; (8) To meet the different needs of different mothers by provide personalized care and measures.
