Objectives:Filter reference in the developing skeletal classⅡpatients with co-selected cephalometric by statistical methods. To provide information for making clinical diagnosis timely , and setting treatment plan and forecasting process .Methods:50 cases respectively in the skeletal ClassⅠand ClassⅡmalocclusion in prepubertal growth periods(boy 25,girl 25), 30 soft tissue indexes and 54 hard tissue indexes were examined in cephalometry which make use of specialty measure software then make deta export. Apply General Linear Model to analyse respectively the group and the sex differences between ClassⅠand ClassⅡ. Apply independent-samples t-test to examine statistical significance . Apply variation to search the sensitive indexes. Results:Multivariate analysis of variance showed the result: 105 selected indicators, 43 indicators have group differences (p <0.05), 10 items have the sex difference (p <0.05); 5 indexes with both gender and group differences(p<0.05). In which significant gender differences (p <0.01) indicators of mandibular inferior border length of Go-Pog (mm) surface of 1 / 3 height LFH (mm) and surface 1 / 3 the length of Sn-Gn '(mm) show male values Than females, and face shaft NBa-PTGn show women greater than men; both groups have significant differences of gender (p <0.01) indicators of Wits values and B-Pog (mm) showed the value of male patients than females Patients, the results of the experimental group than the control group, showed the boy's length of mandibular body and facial 1 / 3 of than girls, which may be related with the bone structure between men and women; but the boy has the further back location of mandibular body, and the more Poor face than girl.29 indexes were statistically significant with independent-samples t-test in the skeletal classⅡmalocclusion group(P<0.01). Apply variation to search SNB,ANB,AB-NP,NBa-PtGn,Wits,LFH(mm),Pog-NB(mm),B-Pog(mm),ODI,APDI 10 sensitive hard tissue indexes; and Z angle,H angle,Gl'SnPog',Sn-Gn' 4 sensitive soft tissue indexes. Conclusion:Skeletal class group has the following clinical features: a shorter mandibular body is small and hypoplasia relative to cranial ; lower alveolar point, Block (B point) hypoplasia; mandible is retrusion relative to the surface appearance , mandibular body has the rotation trend of below and rear; vertical distance smaller; more prominent midface; upper lip position relative to front, relatively thick; classⅡsignificant facial types together and obvious trend of deep overbite. Sensitive indexes: SNB,ANB,AB-NP,NBa-PtGn,Wits,LFH(mm),Pog-NB(mm),B-Pog(mm),ODI,APDI (10 hard tissue);Z angle,H angle,Gl'SnPog',Sn-Gn' ( 4 soft tissue). In this study, in combination with a variety of relevant and statistically significant indicators, selected more sensitive indicator of soft and hard tissue, while the discretion to combine the clinical performance ,which is more helpful in case analysis of skeletal classⅡand accurate diagnosis timely and find the substance of cases . Doing a solid foundationfor for the effective of treatment plans.
