Bckground and Objective:Venous thromboembolism (VTE) includes deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE), DVT and VTE PTE are two different stages of clinical performance. In recent years pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) and deep vein thrombosis (DVT) have constituted a major worldwide health problem.. VTE has a higher prevalence, and mortality . Because of development of PTE-DVT ,clinical manifestations of the occult and complexity and limited diagnostic methods, so the PTE-DVT rate of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis rates were generally higher. Plasma D-dimer in recent years due, spiral CT pulmonary angiography and some other non-invasive examination in the clinical diagnosis of a wide range of applications, on the PTE-DVT rate of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis rate was significantly reduced. D-dimer testing is one of the most commonly used screening clinical VTE in the non-invasive, inexpensive screening methods.D-dimer is a specific cross-linked fibrin degradation product, or prothrombotic state in vivo formation of molecular markers of thrombosis, one of its in vivo half-life of 8 hours, in the venous thromboembolism, D-dimer body is a dynamic change, rather than after increasing to a certain extent, no change. Understanding the dynamic process of D-dimer is important progress to understand the course of venous thromboembolism, but also has some clinical significances.Materials and Methods:18 rats were randomly divided into 3 groups (DVT group, PTE group, sham group). DVT group clip the side of the femoral vein complete with lower extremity vascular clip. PTE group clip the femoral vein thrombosis with complete side of the lower extremity vascular clip, 3 days later take out of them, and through the other side of the thrombus into the femoral vein into the pulmonary artery to make it. Separation of the side of the sham group only the femoral vein instead of lower extremity vascular completed folder. After collecting blood samples of thrombosis and embolism, measure plasma D-dimer levels.Results1. sham operation group, DVT group and the PTE group 0 hours of DD levels were 40.316±4.345 ng / L, 55.785±10.489 ng / L and 51.050±6.795 ng / L, the three groups no significant difference (P> 0.05).2. sham operation group: DD levels began to increase after 3 hours, 450.881±165.966 ng / L (P <0.05); 24 hours to reach peak 504.488±124.615 ng / L (P <0.05); 2-3 days to resume normal Levels (57.511±3.652 ng / L, 54.454±6.556 ng / L; P> 0.05)3. DVT group: DD levels began to increase at 6 hours and reached its peak 353.380±74.235 ng / L (P <0.05); 24 unit still maintained at a high level of 229.159±181.274ng / L (P <0.05); to Return to normal levels on day 3 (42.725±9.749ng / L, P> 0.05)4. PTE Group: DD levels increased in 3 hours trend appears, but before embolization was no significant difference (P> 0.05); DD levels significantly increased in the 6-12 hours to peak (476.576±317.067 ng / L, 481.177±322.763 ng / L, P <0.05); the first 2-3 days are still maintained at a high level (382.956±341.929 ng / L, 381.943±346.108), but before embolization was no significant difference (P > 0.05).5. DVT group and sham operation group, only 3 hours there was significant difference between the two groups (DD levels than the sham group DVT group); PTE group DD levels 1, 2 and 3 days were higher than sham Operation group (P <0.05); the DVT group and the PTE group, in 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours and 3 days, PTE group DD were higher than DVT group (P <0.05).ConclusionD-dimer level of venous thromboembolism is dynamic. Operation would have slightly elevated D-dimer. D-dimer measurement has potential value in the diagnosis of venous thrombosis.
