Objective: To investigate the relationship of the LDL, HDL and ApoB with acute coronary syndrome. Methods: A total of 100 patients with acute coronary syndrome diagnosed by coronary angiography were enrolled as the acute coronary syndrome (ACS)group, which was divided into 2 groups including the unstable angina pectoris(UAP) group(40 cases) and the acute myocardial infarction(AMI) group(60 cases). We chose 30 patients with normal coronary angiography as control group(30 cases). The level of LDL , HDL and ApoB was collected as well as other clinical data. The severity of coronary artery stenosis was quantautive1y assessed by Gensini score.Result: The level of LDL and ApoB in ACS group was higher than that in control group (2.47±0.82mmol/L vs. 2.16±0.61mmol/L;0.95±0.24g/L vs. 0.71±0.15 g/L, P﹤0.05). The level of HDL was lower than that in control group (1.08±0.22 mmol/L vs. 1.12±0.12mmol/L, P﹤0.05). The levels of LDL and ApoB in UAP group and AMI group were significantly higher compared with that in control group(2.49±0.38mmol/L, 2.46±0.87mmol/L vs. 2.16±0.61mmol/L;0.93±0.47g/L, 0.96±0.66g/L vs. 0.71±0.15g/L,P﹤0.05), the levels of HDL was lower than that in control group(1.08±0.15mmol/L, 1.07±0.67mmol/L vs. 1.12±0.12mmol/L,P﹤0.05). There was no statistic differences in the level of LDL, HDL and ApoB among UAP group and AMI group(Pï¹¥0.05). The severity of coronary artery stenosis defined by Gensini score was positively correlated with the ApoB level in ACS group(r=0.526,P﹤0.05) but not correlated with LDL and HDL level (r=ï¹£0.112å'Œr=ï¹£0.125,Pï¹¥0.05).Conclusions: 1.The level of LDL and ApoB was significantly increased, the level of HDL was significantly decreased in ACS patients including UAP and AMI patients compared with non-CHD people. It was an important markers in predicting the appearance of ACS. No difference was found in the level of LDL, HDL and ApoB among UAP and AMI patients. 2. The severity of coronary artery atherosclerosis was positively correlated with the ApoB level in ACS patients but not correlated with LDL and HDL level. ApoB could be a judgment indicator of coronary stenosis for patients with ACS.
