Oligodendrocyte is a kind of important glial cells, existing in the central nervous system of vertebrates. It mainly forms the myelin sheath and promotes the transmission of neurons. Moreover, it could also provide the necessary nutrition and support for neurons. The aberrant development of oligodendrocyte could result in the block of myelinization and give rise to the demyelination disease and neuron damage, even the mental diseases and brain cancers.Three kinds of gene regulatory networks are constructed based on the development of oligodendrocytes. The first one carries out the Network Component Analysis (NCA) method and builds a dynamic tegulatory netwok. The second one involves the regulation of miRNA by utilizing the miRNA microarray and the information of predicted target gene for miRNAs. The last one employs the cluster of profile and three kinds of methods for searching motif (MM, Gibbs Sampler and Random Projection) to construct a functional network based on modules. Combining with the development of oligodendrocytes, we give the elementary analysis and text mining is also achieved to provide the evidence for some regulations found in each network.
