Quantifier is a unique kind in Chinese-Tibetan language system. Quantifier can be used as the modifier of adjective. We select the structure of "One+M.+A.". as the object of study and do it from different angles.Chapter One is the preface of the paper. We indicate the purpose and significance of the topic as well as the research methods of the paper. The study of " quantifier modifying the adjective" in Chinese scholars is also reviewed.In Chapter Two we give explanation about the generating of the " One+M.+A.' structure in Chinese, which includes linguistic reality, theoretical basis and Systemic existence.In Chapter Three we study on the two-way selectiveness of the collocation between quantifier as well as adjective. Eight types of quantifiers can enter the structure, modified by different adjectives. Besides, Spatial characteristics, Quantitative characteristics and other condition can also affect the collocating.In Chapter Four we focus on the measurement of "One+M.+A.".Due to quantifier, the character of adjective is given space. Then we can measure the charater by the mechanism of metonymy and metaphor. In "One+M.+A.", the subjective measurement is the main measurement method.In Chatper Five we study on the pragmatic function of" One+M.+A.". Firstly, it embodies the principle of simple in Chinese language and highlights the focus of the adjective. Secondly, it offers a series of perceptual process with rich images. Thirdly, the unconventional collocation brings the results of strangeness.In Chatper Six, we give a description about the syntax features of the structure of 'One+M.+A.". It can be used as different kinds of syntactic component because of the enhanced capacity to indicate and narrate. The variant form of "One+M.+A." is also refered to.Chapter Seven is the conclusion. We hope our research do some good for the study of quantifier and also for the teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
