America is a country that is known for it's by immigrants, which was built and developed by immigrants. Since the founding of the United States, more than 200 years during the influx of immigrants. At first, mainly from northwestern Europe, followed by South-Eastern Europe, Asian, Hispanic and others flocked.As with others, Asian immigration are made an important contribution to American development. Asian groups in particular Chinese, Japanese made remarkable achievements. The reason why the author discusses the range of options will be in California because California immigration has some typical and representative, California's remarkable characteristics lies in its diversity. And Chinese, Japanese initially entered the United States, most living in California. This subject is divided into three parts. The first part is the introduction, involving domestic and foreign review, research methods and innovative points. The second part is the text. It divides four chapters. Chapter 1:a brief introduction of the natural conditions in California and the reasons of immigranting California; Chapter 2: focus on the discussion of California Chinese, Japanese economic situationmainly from the population, residential pattern, professional type etc; Chapter 3:focus on the social status of Chinese and Japanese, mainly related to anti-Chinese, anti-Japanese cause, Process, and their resistance. Chapter 4:the contributions of Chinese and Japanese to California's development. The third part is closing. Through the discussion above, on the one hand, the author tries to grasp the overview of early Chinese, Japanese immigration, understanding the twists and turns in the exotic experience of Chinese, Japanese; on the other hand, revealed the Chinese as much as possible, between the Japanese immigrants general character and individuality, analysis of different reasons led to Chinese, Japanese economic situation, social status, reveal the contribution of Asian immigrants in early California, and the enlightenment of today's society.
