Silent Shout-the Research Of The Chinese Women Artists' Self-consciousness

In recent years, the concept of "female art" received a high attention. As a part of female arts,female painting plays a very important role in the construction of art history theoretical. Since 1990's, female painting has been enjoyed a close attention and discussion. In a multicultural culture space, it has become an unavoidable part of art history.The development of Chinese female art has experienced a long and difficult process. Chinese women painters had no right to express their thoughts in a long term. Up to 1980 's, with the intervention of feminist in art history, they were able to get rid of the male art bound, which made them firmly grasp the initiative in artistic creation. This is a blessing for the development of contemporary art. Western feminist thought give a big ideological impact to the Chinese contemporary female artists, which encouraged them to explore the true essence of self-determination in the context of the continuous challenge of mainstream and deconstruction, find the base of the main feeling.This paper can be divided into six parts, the Chinese painting history and current status of women as the research background, combined with analysis of contemporary women artists and their works of their own development, I try to tease out an emotion clue of female art. The first part is introduction, which describes the overall purpose of this study, status and significance. The second part (chapterâ… ), analysis of the Chinese female paintings, which fall into the plight of emotional expression,in both subjective and objective position. The third part (Chapterâ…¡) through the boudoir painters and painters of prostitutes to clarify China's burgeoning self-awareness of women artists.The fourth part (Chapterâ…¢) combined with the historical background, compared with the embryonic stage of modern Chinese painters and their works, affirmed that women self-awareness in the female art is growing day by day. Part V (Chapter IV) will introduce three contemporary Chinese women artists and their creative process, the evolution of their work style.
