Wang Anyi's Novel Of Female Growth

Novels themed by growth always occupy an important position among the works of Wang Anyi, especially growth of women, whose live condition, emotional changes, life experience, the generation of spiritual world etc are fully manifested in a series of novels. From the perspective of women growth, the thesis attempts to conduct in-depth analysis and reading of the growth of women in novel texts by Wang Anyi, to tease out the growing process of women in the novels and understand the connotation of their growth by the use of relevant theories like feminism.The first chapter sums up the development of novels of growth at home and abroad, and briefly introduces some classical coming-of-age novels, explaining the background of growth-themed novels by Wang Anyi. Chapter 2 summarizes several modes of female growth through analysis of relevant works, paying close attention to the live condition of women in each growth mode. Chapter 3 introduces the writing carrier of novels themed by growth, understands how women achieve growth in these specific carriers. Chapter 4 provides analysis on change of women's female consciousness in their growing process, and summarizes the background and causes of the change, thus understands female growth in the novels of Wang Anyi to a deeper extent.
