Today, culture has become a more and more important source of national cohesion and creativity and more and more important factor of competition in overall national strength. For our people, enriching the cultural life has become more and more ardent desire. The rapid rise of cultural industry in the global, highlight that the culture is in the strategic position during the course of human history.In modern society, with the physical production richer, people's consumption center has gradually changed from the material level to the spiritual level. The spirit consumption demand has facilitated the cultural economy. The Fifth Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Congress put forward'cultural industry'concept and the report to the 16th Party Congress distinguished the cultural industry form the cultural institutions.It embodies that in our country the culture industry play an important role in social progress. Developing cultural industry in China is the objective requirement of developing market economy, the comprehensive construction well-off society's important ways and the necessary factors for enhancing China's overall strength. This paper tries to combine sociology, economics, management, and other disciplines and China's modernization construction, and research the cultural industry development from different angles comprehensively, explore what blocks the development of cultural industry in China and think how to develop culture industry. Section Three mainly introduce the history and current situation of since the Reform and Opening up, found out the problems about the development of our cultural industry and analysis the reasons.
