With market-oriented economy developing fast, whether the film industry as the cultural industry, or the tourism industry as the leisure services, both of them need to maximize profit to survive in the fierce competition in the market. Movie placement tourism advertising is developing in the situation. On one hand, the film become the advertisement carrier, advertising obtain the commercial profit. On the other hand, travel advertisements can avoid the disadvantage advertising purposes. Movie placement tourism advertising bases on both sides seeking of the film industry and tourism industries to win-win result, also is the inevitable outcome of the development of the market economy and its development trend.Based on the domestic and foreign movies, using advertising communication and related theory, film placement tourism ads were studied. This paper summarizes different types of the film placement tourism ads, background and communication environment, and points out advantages of the advertising transmission dilemma and effects in communication. Specific to restrictions and limitation of movie placement tourism advertising, suggestions of improving the advertising effects are given.
