The Study Of San Shui Xiao Du

San Shui Xiao Du is a very influential legendary tales collection which authored by Huangfu Mei in Late-Tang Dynasty. The legendary tales of Tang Dynasty is a symbol of China ancient story's style autocephaly, but the entire research on the collection of the legendary tales is only in the beginning at present, especially lacks of the special study on San Shui Xiao Du. The thesis goes from three aspects to analyze Huangfu Mei's an Shui Xiao Du in detail. It follows.The first part mainly introduces the writer Huangfu Mei and his works San Shui Xiao Du. There are to many problems to discuss and discriminate on the whole life of Huangfu Mei, so the paper bases on the previous'research achievements, and try to replenish the writer's information by collecting relevant materials. As for the works, in order to make an overall understand about it, the thesis elaborates into four points, such as the origin of the title, the spread issues about the name of the writer, the amount of the volume, and the edition.The second part expounds the thoughts and cultures about the San Shui Xiao Du, including its effects. In Chinese history, Tang Dynasty is a quite open society, and the rulers hold the inclusive attitude on the Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. So the works is full of the thoughts and cultures of Religions. All of them did make a deep influence on the creation of the works, and reflect the social outlook about Late-Tamg Dynasty. They were containing profound era's imprint.The third part analyses the characters of San Shui Xiao Du. During the works, the writer successfully created a group of image figures, by individuation words, careful expressions, and detail descriptions, particularly modeled a batch of varied and vivid women. In addition, the works has a distinct character of the historical literature. However, the creation of the writer was not a simple historical record, but took some exceed on the basis of inheritance. The author did a lot of necessary processing to make the history materials to be a truly literary works.It is only a dayspring about the entire research on Huangfu Mei's San Shui Xiao Du. There surely are problems need to excavate and explore deeply and particularly because they are not embed and perfected. The study on the collections of the legend tales of Tang Dynasty also need to be made further development.
