The poor scholars started to become an important strength in the political area of the Qi and Liang Dynasty. The poor scholars not only broke through from the first-class gentry hedge in politics, enhance its political status, and also broke the cultural monopolization of the first-class gentry. The enhancement in the political and cultural status of the poor scholars reflects that the declining of the politics of powerful families started from the gentry interior. The main subject of this thesis is the effect of the poor scholars in the Qi and Liang Dynasty. From this point of view, the thesis mainly discusses the changes of the political status of the poor scholars. The whole paper is composed of three parts:sub-introduction, text, conclusion.The sub-introduction part principally illuminates the research approaches and perspectives of this paper, and defines the core concepts of the gentry,the poor scholars and the first-class gentry.The text part is divided into three parts. The first part generally discusses the main features of the political environment in the Qi and Liang Dynasty, and the relationships of the political status and the poor scholars' official advancement. The main features of the political environment have two aspects, including the imperial power further revival and the first-class gentry fast decline. These changes guarantee the poor scholars' political way, accelerating the declining of the politics of powerful families. The second part is in the perspective of the poor scholars, through analyzing the stratum differentiation of the main selection types, to study the first official position of the poor scholars, and the differences of the Qi and Liang Dynasty. The Liang Dynasty, comparing to the Qi Dynasty, the poor scholars entering political stratum's population increase, and the political way expand. Concretely, the first-class gentry are often to be official by the lower-grade official position, but the poor scholars by the higher-grade official position. This reflects the flow of the stratum has promoted. The third part discusses the stratum differentiation of the literary groups and its influence on the poor scholars'political status. First, the Liang Dynasty, comparing to the Qi Dynasty, the proportion of the poor scholars increases in the literary groups, and the poor scholars become an independent literary strength. Second, the royal literary groups have an important effect on the political status of the poor scholars. Meanwhile, the instability of the royal literary groups also has an negative influence on the poor scholars'political way, intense and frequent political struggles cause the royal literary groups from prosperity to disintegration, so the members of the royal literary groups have to choose other political ways.The conclusion part sums up the whole Paper, and draws the conclusion:The poor scholars become an important strength in the political area of the Qi and Liang Dynasty.
