An Anthropology Research On Traditional Festival Of Korean Nationality In Yanbian Area

As a country with ancient civilization of five thousand years' history, China is the only one country which preserves and carries down the ancient cultures among the four countries with ancient civilization, which is not the Chinese people's pride, but also a miracle in the world. As is known to all, the competition in the current international society and the rising of a nation is no longer simple the bout of economic strength, military power or advanced technology. Instead, the prosperity and carry-down of the nation and the country's traditional culture are more important. As the carrier of traditional culture, national traditional festival contains the essence of traditional culture, is the in-depth representation of national history, social ideology and customer, as well as the best ciphertext to understand the history of a country and a nation.Being a member of the 56 nationalities in our country, Korean Nationality began to migrate into China since the later half of the 19th century and thus become a cross-boundary nationality. As Yanbian Korean Nationality Autonomous Prefecture is the largest place for the gathering of Korean nationality, it becomes the core force for carry-down of traditional Korean culture. However, there are some reports showing that the carry-down of traditional Korean festival faces some awkward situation in the present complicated economic and political cultural background. Focusing on such phenomenon, in combination with the large context of domestic traditional cultural protection and carry-down, this paper introduces the connotation and changing process of the traditional festival of Korean Nationality in Yanbian, as well as the reasons why Korean people's traditional festival faces such awkward situation. At the same time, the specific ways for carrying down the Korean people's traditional festival and cultures are discussed preliminarily. It is expected that this paper will arouse people's refection and then pay attention to traditional festivals to explore, discover and truly understand the essence of traditional festival. Accordingly, a hot wave of learning and carrying down festival cultural is expected to be surged and finally conduces to contribution of harmonious society.
