The tide of researching Agatha Christie's novels has not yet begun to ebb, it's not just because of the attractive plot , fascinating suspense as well as the strict reasoning of the novels, or the personality and social phenomenon they reflected, it's more than that, for the relatively successful narrative strategies the novels adopt constitute a particular narrative style. In Agatha Christie's works , the detective novel is the most important component , which is also the main part in many scholars'study and within many readers'interest and naturally is the subject of my paper that analyzed its exquisite narrative structure, diverse narrative words and the relationship between character setting and narrative perspective , thus researched its narrative strategies further. In the "golden age" of the classical detective novels, Agatha Christie can be a typical writer, one of the reasons is the narrative characteristics of his novels. This paper consists of three parts:1. exquisite narrative structure"Suspense" is an essential element in the detective novels. The process that uncovers the mystery is a process itself during which readers unlock the suspense. Just because of it, the detective novels do attract readers. There are usually two kinds of narrative pattern in Agatha Christie's detective novels, namely "the most impossible" mode and" the most suspected" mode. In the former one, the person who seems to be the most impossible murderer is just the murderer; the latter can be divided into two cases, the first is "the most suspected" people are innocent, who interfere with the readers'judgment; the second is the" most suspected" one is just the real criminal whose identity is apparent, but the ending will still need a long time to see during the reasoning process, which can be increasingly interesting. In Christie's works, the bloody and violent scenes are not everywhere, its reasoning brings out her femininity anywhere , which is so called" A-type" comfortable reasoning, just because of which, this female writer's novels do not only fascinate man readers, but also attract a large number of woman readers. In addition, her novels'popularity is also a result of the characteristics of the narrative structure, for instance, the novel's narrative time co-existing its story time, closed and open structure; similar form and different plots as well as the independent and causal narration.2. relationship between character setting and narrative perspectiveHull Kerrey Poirot and Jane Miss Marple, two detectives, are the most important characters in Agatha Christie's detective novels .Although their personality, style , life background are not the same, eg: Poirot's detection is based on the clues and reasoning rationality ,while Miss Marple relies on intuition and comparison ,then again, whether the suspenseful setting or the plot development are both inseparable from the two main characters. In addition to detectives, there are such roles are also indispensable, as Hastings who follows Poirot like a shadow in many works, as heroes in the first person narrative in some of her works , and as suspects or criminals. Just thanks to the various sorts of characters, her novel s'narrative perspective can only be diversified. The novels used the spectator as a narrator, which is outside the narrative perspective and used the characters- in- story as a narrator within it. Above all, it used a criminal as one in the first perspective and within the narrative perspective. Plentiful narrative perspectives make Agatha Christie's novel more well-rounded and more fascinating, which thus makes Christie's detective novel a unique one compared with other novels alike.3. diverse narrative words The diversity of the narrative words is one of the important reasons for a mystery's fascination. The dull words will always make the readers feel it obscure, thus lose their interest in reading. On the contrary, vivid words combined with suspense, will immerse the readers in the world of Christie's mystery. The detective parts, usually in a form of interrogation by detectives, which, in turn, make the dialogue form an outstanding feature. In addition to statements and dialogues, the novels also used rhymes, letters and pictures as impetus to develop plot or help readers to think in order to make the narrative means diverse.ConclusionThere are more than 70 detective novels written by Agatha Christie during her life, who is known as "the queen of detective novels". In her works, to clear up a case is an intelligent game. The readers are attracted by and immersed in her stories. Some scholars regard the Christie's works as an object of study, studying the image of the characters, storyline, or the social background of the novel , or the human nature the novel reflected. Whereas what's the contents in this paper are the narrative structure, narrative perspective and narrative words, studying from a literally narrative stand-point, with an expectation that my research can be an supplement to the previous researches on Christie's detective novels...
