Gentry class is a special class in the rural of Ming and Qing Dynasties, they ranked first in the four classes, they are the ties connect national and local community, the academic has been done lot work of the rearch of gentry, and achieved fruitful results. At present it is necessary to study the great tradition of Han Chinese society, which is the study of the traditional culture that represents Confucian-based culture, but we also attached great importance to Chinese society research which represent the little traditional, that is, rearching the rural community life of the villagers. In the Fujian Han Chinese society, the great tradition and little tradition is particularly evident.By analyzing the luozhou region during the Ming and Qing priods, to have a better understanding of the traditional theory of great and little traditional. The Imperial Examination results of luozhou arevery good during Ming and Qing Dynasty, resulting in a large number of imperial scholars, forming a large gentry group, in my paper, I try to analyze the scale and constitute of the gentry in the region of luozhou.Through field research, and through the genealogy and Local chorography, in order to discover the little traditional activities of the local gentry, including the construction of their local affairs, care for the welfare of the local charity, the cause of clan construction, attention to local education, committed to the local temple's construction, the concern of local public utilities, the construction of the clan and the promotion of clan gentry, is committed to the place of folk belief, which explore the culture power of the village gentry, the status and roles of the rural gentry.
