The present dissertation tries to cover Alai's fictions, discusses the universal meaning in his creations which has been mentioned by himself on numerous occasions. First, on the content level, the paper studies the universal meaning speculated by Alai, second, on the form level, how the universal meaning could be delivered by special text form will be researched. The author finds that in Alai's works, his speculation on the fate of the entire human race and ethnic groups is delivered by creating the individual and unique images and tribes (because of Alai's cultural identity, most of the images and tribes in his works are Tibetan or connected to Tibetan region), and this speculation is of great significance in the period of the current society transition and universally cultural confluence. In his work, it is not accomplished at on action to develop from individuality and uniqueness of the images to universality and generality of the meaning, but is accomplished by a duple jump ( individual——group——humanity). On the first level, the vivid individual images (a person or a tribe) are presented to the audience, on the second level, the individual images stand for the groups (the groups here still have specific cultural or tribal characteristics) which have same features, and then, on the third level, the individual images are beyond the category boundaries, deliver the universal meaning speculated by Alai which is about entire human race and general ethnic groups. The present dissertation is divided into three chapters. Chapter one, the observations of the universality of man, focuses on the psychology and fate of man written by Alai. Chapter two, the imaginations of generality of ethnic group, tries to describe generation, demise, operation, implementation and influence on the people of the authority in ethnic groups and cultural extinction pattern in time and spatial dimension which are presented in Alai's text. Chapter three, the development from particularity to universality, discusses the skills used by Alai in the text system and the features of the text caused by the skills, studies the influence of the skills on the forming of universality and allegory sense.
