Intertexuality Theory thinks literature is a kind of network system formed of various texts. There without tradition or documents. According to this theory, I find there is lots of intertexuality exits in the topic, image, structure and description of Classical Chinese Poetry. In my teaching, I stick to this feature, leading students to master the topic and emotional implication of the poems from both diachronic and synchronic angles, which will help turn the classical poetry teaching from the one based on a single text to the one takes on a whole connected look. |
