Reading self-efficacy refers to the reader of a kind of subjective judgment to control their reading behavior and reading ability, which is oneself can use ability of reading, skills or strategy to finish reading tasks degree of self-confidence evaluation. The moment from reading with text generation, it decided to readers'psychological activity depends on the subject. The level of Reading efficiency(the subjective evaluation of individuals to their reading level and reading ability)also will influence the investment degree of reading activities and reading scores. This article tries to explore the reading self-efficacy of the high school students in reading behavior, which deepens and develops the learning self-efficacy researchon domestic students, and also attempt for the reading self-efficacy research of the high school students, has the frontier. Meanwhile, understand the status and characteristics for the reading self-efficacy of the high school students contemporary, has important theoretical significance and practical significance. On the base of the analysis of literatures, the study, combined with investigation results of open questionnaires, puts forward the theoretical conception of reading self-efficacy of high school students, and develops self-made questionnaires strictly following the general principle and procedure of psychological tests. Meanwhile, we receive effective sample 909 high school students from six high schools in Anhui province, using self-made questionnaire, explore the present situation and features of reading self-efficacy of high school students in Anhui province. Main results are as follows:1. Questionnaire of reading self-efficacy of high school students by our study are of reasonable structure, with high validity and credibility, conforms to our country's social and cultural background. So the questionnaire could be used as a kind of assessment tool among high school students. The structure of reading self-efficacy of high school students made up of 6 dimensions, that is, ability, control, benefit, self-confidence, planning and anti-interference, which is good fit to structure, and can explain the total variance 51.734%. The reading self-efficacy of high school students is a multi-dimension structure of its own characteristics.2. At present, the high school student had the average level of reading self-efficacy in Anhui province.6 dimensions of reading self-efficacy scores from high to low are as follows: benefit, planning, control, self-confidence, ability and anti-interference. The average score of the self-confidence below the intermediate values slightly. Take appropriate measures to improve the reading self-efficacy level of the high school students is important.3. The differences of reading self-efficacy of high school students in Anhui province lies apparently in grades, majors, school patterns, the only child and source place of student, however, not that much in genders.4. Between the reading self-efficacy of high school students and reading time, reading scores, exist extremely significant positive correlation. And the relationship between reading self-efficacy and reading scores complement each other, not a one-way relationship.5. The cultural degree of parents significantly plays a role in the students' reading self-efficacy. And the differences lied in all dimensions and the total score. The parents of the higher level of education, students' reading self-efficacy is stronger.
