"5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake" caused enormous damage to Dujiangyan city, some old houses were seriously damaged in Dujiangyan urban area, along with damage to these old houses new problems has been brought to the reconstruction of Dujiangyan. The dwellers in damaged old houses mostly are the elderly, post-disaster Dujiangyan government has built some Government-Subsidized Housing for the disaster victims, the elderly naturally become the main occupant of these Subsidized Houses. The elderly moved from old community that they had lived for years to a new community, changing not only the demographic structure of the original communities, but also bringing a special aging problem. Based on the above background, the paper tightly locked on the reality reconstruction of the Government-Subsidized Housing, studying the status of mental health of the elderly in these Housing, assessing the relationship between the communities services and mental health of the elderly.Introduction part of this paper analyzed the formation and background of Government-Subsidized Housing, and described the current status of these residential areas, collected literature review for mental health factors of the elderly. Body part of paper analyzed the data that collected of survey questionnaire of 354 elderly who living in Government-Subsidized Housing, found and summed up several important results of this study as follow:1. The income level of the elderly in this community in general is not high, the culture level of the elderly is low; 2.The elderly in the earthquake area has experienced large psychological trauma, psychological trauma index was six, the earthquake has caused damage to psychological wellbeing of the elderly, and thus for many elderly people suffered from mental stress disorder after the earthquake; 3. Older people has a very strong sense of nostalgia to old residential houses and neighborhood, although they generally feel more comfortable living in the news houses, but still missing the neighborhood that they have been built in many years. After moving into quarters, the old neighborhood relationship of the elderly was completely disrupted, feeling lack of interpersonal communication and entertainment in the new community, Loneliness has become a major psychological issues elderly people faced; 4.Through the analysis of OHI Oxford people's evaluation of SWB index score of old age living in the Government-Subsidized Housing, found that the status of mental health of elderly is in a normal level, the elderly generally satisfy their way of living and present way of life. The main contribution and innovation of this research are laid in three aspects: firstly, through this study we found special aging phenomenon in the district of these Government-Subsidized Housing, doing a systematic analysis of this special phenomenon. Characteristics of the special aging phenomenon can be summarized as large scale of the elderly population, living together, strong sense of loneliness. In Dujiangyan Government-Subsidized Housing gathered a large number of elderly people, there is a strong care needs of old age, having set a major problem for the local government, but also creating a opportunity for the development of community services, particularly for the development of community services for aged. Strong demand of elderly services has created opportunities for older industries, and the lifestyle of living together provided convenience for the launching of the service.Secondly, this paper discussed an issue that had not been studied in the psychology and sociology, which is studying the relationship between community service and mental health of the elderly. This paper proved the major assumption that there is a significant linear relationship between the community services and mental health of the elderly. through multiple regression analysis we found that five indicators of community services that set in this article, transportation, shopping, health care and property management these four elements were positively correlated with the elderly mental health, meaning that perfect community service have a positive impact mental health of the elderly, on the contrary, it is contributed to the birth of depressed negative emotions of the elderly. This relationship founded has important practical significance, demonstrating that a complete community service not only improves the level of infrastructure in earthquake area, but also has the function of improving the mental health of the elderly. Thirdly, the study has provided rich theoretical material for the Dujiangyan reconstruction after the earthquake to make up the follow-up study of elderly mental health gap. After the earthquake, mental health of the elderly became the focus of the theoretical circles, but after two years, very few scholars made the continued research on the mental health problems of these older persons. This study investigated the status of mental health of the elderly who living in Government-Subsidized Housing, and analyzed the psychological needs of older persons in these areas, through collection and arrangement provided a theoretical support for the improve of physical and mental health for the elderly people, and provided a more reasonable way to carry out community services in the process of post-disaster reconstruction.
