The Feature And Singing Interpretation To Liu Qing's Composition Of Vocal Music

As one of the well-known music composers active in China after the reform and opening up, Liu Qing was notified and loved by a series of works of considerable national style in 1980's, again, his talent of creation in music was appealed by several pop songs in the early 1990's, many singers became famous overnight through his works. His work was based on the social development in China; these works in different times were a mirror of trajectory to China's social development in different times. Liu's writing grew with the development of music in China, simultaneously; numerous "Liu Qing" made the development and prosperity of China's musical creation. Liu had been engaged in musical creation more than 30 years, with many nationality, popularity and timely works, he was favorite by masses as a excellent composer. But the research on his work was less, most of them focused on introduction of his life, contribution, works, musical activities, the analysis and research on the creation style and artistic characteristics of his work were fewer, especially, the studies on singing art of his works were little.This article mainly by:Liu Qing's contribution and the background of song writing in 80's; main of his work and it's creative features; interpretation for instances of singing vocal of Liu Qing; contemporary influence and prospect of his music creation.In the first part, we introduced Liu Qing's life story and contributions in artistic briefly. This article believed that Liu's success because he could firmly grasp the pulse of the times, notice the change that people in the material life and spiritual, capitalized the trend and interacted with time. He responded to time with musical creation sincerely, to meet people's spiritual needs, it can be said the time made Liu success. in the introduction of song writing environment in the 80's, we discussed it mainly from the social environment and development of songs to analyze the reason of Liu's activities since 1980.In the second part, we classified and summarized Liu's works, then analyzed its creative features. According to categories of Singing, this article divided the major of Liu's vocal works into two parts:one is for folk sing, the other is for popular singing, in addition to songs for children and the choral works. As to writing features, we summarize the common and unique parts of his works from its source, lyrics, and the features of singing.The third parts, we explained and studied three songs like "the high heaven the cloud ", "the Five-Starred Red Flag" and "Hill can't move but water can" from writing background, spectrum analysis, song's sing and interpretation.At last, by describing the current social progress and the development of times, we analyzed the time influence of Liu's creation, the impact and influence on music creation by the change in environment of song writing, and showed the prospect of Liu's works.
