The Chinese vocabulary teaching is one of the most important aspect in TCSL(Teaching Chinese as Second Language).So the idioms as an important lexical category, the totality of meaning and fixbility of structure make it to be a special location in vocabulary teaching.The main idea of this paper is from 3 aspects to research the condition of Chinese idioms acquisition which acquired by middle and high level foreign students. The first is according to analysis some common-used Chinese textbooks which studied by foreign students . Try to find out some shared and different characters in textbook making-up,teaching and practice. The second is to collect foreign students'questionnaires and compositions. With these materials the paper try to make a general conclusion about idioms reorganization and usage. The third one is giving some advice.The above is this paper's main idea and conclusion. I wish this research can give the TCSL some help and useful advice.
