Watercolor painting was imported from the West, after hundreds of years raised and failed, took root in our country. Learned the profound traditional Chinese culture, it gradually has the style and spirit of the times, developed into a China's local art, finally take a place of Chinese artistic. Over the past decade, Hunan watercolor paintings have excellent performance in the national art shows, because of the unremitting efforts of several generations of Hunan watercolor painting artists in recent decades.In this paper, we focus on the clues of formation and development of watercolor painting into our country, and analyze the development of rise, mature and prosperous of the watercolor painting art in Hunan, research the cultural heritage and artists in Hunan. from the study through various periods of development in Hunan, watercolor painting painter plays an important factor on the relevant interviews, and the exhibition successful in the country in recent years, which revealed Hunan watercolor painting how to become the country's "watercolor province ". We seek a more systematic history of watercolor painting in Hunan Province for academic achievement and collate and summarize the current situation, and then in the new historical period, the watercolor of the inheritance and development of Hunan's direction were analyzed. This should has a certain meaning and social practice of academic guidance value in the contemporary culture.Since 2007, guiding by Professor Huang Tieshan, author has been training, and studying watercolor techniques. To enhance their quality and artistic spirit, the author hascontinually practice from watercolor painting, and sum up the creative ideas and materials, techniques on the active exploration in watercolor art.
