Daily Life Aesthetic Acceptance In China

As an important symbol of current social and cultural change, Aestheticization of EverydayLife is increasingly attended and discussed worldwide as well as in China, as a result of globalization and China's social and cultural transformation. Therefore, a profound analysis and interpretation of the connotation not only enables us to better understand and accept this concept, but also contribute to an overall cognition and grasp on the current situation of Chinese culture and its future trend.This paper studies the research on and acceptation of Aestheticization of EverydayLife in Chinese academia, takes arguments since2003for examples, and makes a dialectical analysis on problems and inadequacies. Current research on Aestheticization of EverydayLife mainly focuses on the context, value and discipline construction. Although we have made some achievements, there is a lack of academic view and rigorous academic argument. In this regard, this paper investigates the occurrence of this concept in the west and the representative view of western scholars, and points out that Aestheticization of EverydayLife is not only landscaping and whitewash of everyday life for the post-modern era, but also closely relates to some ideas of aesthetic modernity, which gives it the profound meaning of breaking through the daily life and concerning people's living conditions. In contrast, due to the limitation of the research methods, the oneness of the perspective, relevant research in Chinese academic has been superficial and one-sided. To solve these problems, in addition to expanding the horizon, enriching theoretical resources and focusing on theoretical research on the object, this paper also advocates that research on Aestheticization of Everyday Life should pay attention to the public, re-excavate and stimulate their initiative and dynamism in aestheticization.This paper consists of three chapters. The first chapter introduces western social context of Aestheticization of Everyday Life and representative viewpoints, and analyze the characterization and connotations of the concept from modern and postmodern perspective. Chapter II describes the acceptance of Aestheticization of Everyday Life in Chinese academia, and studies viewpoints of scholars by taking the arguments as a case. In the third chapter, Deficiencies and shortcomings in the current study are stated. Finally, some suggestions are given to deepen the research from the perspective of subject.
