Liu Yuxi Kuizhou Poetry Studies

This thesis mainly focuses on Liu Yuxi's Kuizhou poetry. As it's known to all, LiuYuxi is a famous relegation literati, who was relegated to Kuizhou for more than two years.During this time, he created not just a few excellent poems, essays and documents. Fromthe regional culture research point of view, this paper, based on the analysis of Liu Yuxi'sKuizhou period works, attempts to examine the links between Liu Yuxi's Kuizhou poetryand bayu culture, through the discussion of relationship between regional culture andliterary.This thesis is made up of four parts:The first part is the introduction. The paper introduces searly research information,and reviews recent results of Liu Yuxi's literature research, and concluds the currentsituation of Liu Yuxi's literature studying from regional culture viewpoint, and summerizesthe inadequacy, which leads to the purpose and significance of writing the thesis.The second part is the close analysis of Kuizhou period perms. In this part, the pormsare divided into seven categories, take several porms for examples from each category, thenanalyzes their content and characteristic.The third part is the analysis on Kuizhou essays, which is combined with the summaryof Liu Yuxi's literary thoughts.The last part is studying on the relationship between Kuizhou period works and bayuculture, based on the research of the relationship between regional culture and literary.This relationship is elaborated from two aspects: one is bayu culture influenced Kuizhoupoetry creation; the other is Kuizhou poetry influenced the development andcommunication of bayu culture.
