Zhang shenfu is a very important person in china modern intellectual history and academic field. Used to he was a teacher in Tsinghua University. Famous philosopher zhang dainian who affected by his ideas were his brother. Zhang shenfu actively engaged in WUSI Movement. He as an editor in new youth and write lots of new ideas papers. He was the first man introduce Romain Rolland Auguste Rodin Russell to china. And he was very famous because he translates a lot of Russell's work. Although he acknowledge he was the most important philosopher in20century, he was very familiar with Russell is no doubt.He was a professor as well as an activist. He was one of the sponsors of china communist party. He informs that shouchang was first I am the second. He was the introducer of zhou enlai zhude zhang guotao. With the circumstance changed, he and lots of scholar temporarily agree the country's president. In this case he mixes the true meaning of the patriotic and enlightenment.In the fourth part, review his tension between patriotic and enlightenment.Study of zhang shenfu can give us a clear thread of thoughts, which can explanation the ideas change of Contemporary.
