One of main obstacles to autism children is social adaptability, social interactiondifficulty. Social skills training are important and difficult to autism children. Pro-socialbehavior is an extremely important aspect among the large number of adaptivebehaviors. However, because of their metal disability, they are hardly to understandingand dealing with the real social situations. Compare with normal children, theirpro-social behavior performance are less. Moreover, to develop their pro-social behavior,childhood is the key period. Thus, it is so important to discuss the method of improvingtheir pro-social skills.Social story as the intervention method in this research, through product socialstory which the individual needs, aims at guiding the appropriate pro-social behaviorwhen he is in the real situation. There are two operational processes in the researchwhich divide into developing social story and observing the result that social storyimproves the behavior. The pro-social behaviors conclude help, comfort, sharing, andcooperation. Social story for these four types of target behavior and to start a targetbehavior corresponds to an independent social story. The social story prepared inconformity with specific requirements and test validity. Adoption of a single laboratorytest research methods, experimental design types of multiple baseline design acrossbehaviors. The experiment was divided into a baseline period, processing period andmaintenance period of three stages.The conclusion of this study are as follows:(1)social stories can effectively promote pro-social behavior of pre-school mild autisticchildren;(2) social stories to promote pro-social behavior can keep, but the maintenanceof effect to four target behaviors is different;(3) social stories help children with autismbuilding new positive behaviors;(4) social stories written by the researcher of this studyhave good results;(5) pro-social behavior of autistic children in the horizontal level islow, because of its spontaneity, to enhance pro-social level of the autistic children,incentiving motivation to prosaically behavior is a breakthrough, and also one of thekey points.
