| During the Romantic period, the invention of the valve device made the trumpet became a chromatic instrument. Meanwhile, under the influence of Romanticism, the symphonic music Changed a lot. The improvement of the trumpet's structure was coincide with the change of musical style, this will made the composer to change the use of trumpet section in the symphonic music.The purpose of this dissertation is to research the using of the trumpet in the symphony music of Romantic composers. The dissertation is divided into two chapters, the first chapter discusses the change of the trumpet's structure during the Romantic period and its usage in the symphony music. The second chapter investigates the range,dynamic,melody and the relationship between different trumpet sction. |
