On The Development Of Network Societies The Promotion Of Civil Society In China

Extensive political participation is basic symbol of political modernization.As China's current political participation system could not meet the increasing participation needs of citizens and impedes the realization of China's modernization,developing a mature civil society is considered to be an effective way to meet citizens' participation needs.However,China's government adopts restricted policies on the development of civil society and the change of the policies is a long-term historical process.The emergence and the development of the Internet organizations make up for the shortage of China's institutional environment,which provides China's citizens with Public Domain ,improves their ability of taking part in politics and promote the independence of China's civil society.
