System Of International Anti-money Laundering Law Studies

In recent years, money laundering has become a growing problem worldwide, and at t the same time, international money laundering has gradually stood out. Thus, the international cooperation was needed to hit this crime. Now, the international community established an international anti-money laundering institution in the form of legislation. As for China, the point of anti-money laundering is how to take advantage of the international cooperation experience to deploy the act, amend the relative institution and strengthen its ability in cooperating with other countries. This essay mainly discussed these problems in the level of international law. There are four chapters in this essay. The first chapter briefly introduced the basic theory of money laundering, including the identification, characteristics and forms of the money laundering, and then discussed the new trends of international money laundering. The second chapter observed the legislation and practice of the work of anti-money laundering in advanced countries such as the United States, Britain and German, and analyzed their unique institution. The third chapter observed the international legislation and practice of the work of anti-money laundering. It introduced the international cooperation in fighting against money laundering from the angles of international convention, model law, and institution and cooperation forms. The fourth chapter mainly introduced China's legislation in fighting against money laundering and its international cooperation practice. The purpose of this essay is introducing the advanced law in other countries and the international cooperation in the working of fighting against money laundering, analyzing the characteristics, influence and operation of the international cooperation mechanism, and discussing how to improve China's work of anti-money laundering according to its own practice in this field.
