Marx's concept of ideology is a kind of critical inheritance of previous thought.The concept of ideology has its own history. The French person, Tracy is the first person who had created the concept in history. Hegel, the synthesizer of German Classical Philosophy, gave new philosophy meanings to the concept. The two persons enlightened Marx's thought about ideology from two aspects and the thought of Tracy and Hegel is the source of Marx's ideas.The concept of ideology has a close connection with the development of Marx's thought. And the concept has an important position in Marx's thought. Marx researched the field of social thought by using the concept and established Historical Materialism. Marx made new research and changed his research by analyzing ideological phenomena and founded his new theory about politics and economy. The concept of ideology developed in the development of Marx's thought. Marx learned more about the society by using the concept and the concept also possessed new content from the developing of Marx's thought.The concept of ideology had been given new content by Marx. In his early time, Marx gave the concept basic formulation and made the concept critical. The features of the concept appeared with the development of Marx's thought, among which the false character owned new deep meaning. Ideology became a new way to researching the false thought. The development of the concept is consistent to the development of Marx's thought. And the concept has a close relationship with Historical Materialism.
