Because of the recognition of this point, the academic field mainly emphasizes the protection of their law enforcements rights but neglect the protection of their related private rights in studying the problem of the protection of policemen rights. This is very unfair to policemen and ineffective to protect policemen's rights. The writer puts forward his own understanding of the connotation and denotation of policemen's rights to make up the lack of the exception of policemen's private rights out of policemen's rights in most scholars' eyes based on the several conceptions of policemen's rights, and explains several invulnerable policemen's rights in detail. Based on the analysis of several familiar cases of damaging policemen's rights, this paper analyzes the reasons for the persecution of policemen's rights from the perspective of career nature, outside social environments, inside reasons in police department and law limitations etc. with the most important reason, law reasons. Finally, writer thinks there are many methods to protect policemen's rights, but lawful methods are most important and effective. So the writer, in the light of the working practice, puts forward several suggestions to defend policemen's rights such as enforce the lawful sanction, strengthen policemen's self-defense rights and improve the inside-organization legislation.
