The Evaluation Of Meisner's Research On Mao Zedong's Thoughts

This article is the evaluation of Meisner's research on Mao Zedong's thoughts. Maurice Meisner is an American renowned expert on Mao Zedong; a world -famous expert on East Asian issues and also a political scientist on compared. He utilizes the research technique of "comparative method" to explain the development of Mao Zedong's thoughts. On the basis of trying to grasp the concrete historical perspective and comprehensively unfolding the forming process of Mao's politics paradigm, he especially stressed that Mao Zedong takes seriously on the importance" socialism", which helps to take the first step on understanding seriously; evaluating and utilizing Mao Zedong's political thoughts. The article has two parts, Includes introduction and body composition. The body composition is also divided into three parts.Introduction section introduces the research object and the significance, points out the study is mainly about the evaluation of Meisner's research on Mao Zedong's thoughts; introduces the professor Meisner and his main academic achievements; makes a detailed summary of domestic and foreign research present situation of Meisner's research on Mao's thoughts.The first part of the body, analyzed historical process of Meisner's research on Mao Zedong's thoughts. According to the time sequence of research on Mao Zedong's thoughts, the main research results of each stage of research on Mao Zedong's thoughts is systematically combed, that is the two stages of research on Mao Zedong's thoughts:1967-1982; 1986.
