On The Overseas Chinese Affairs Of The KMT's Overseas Department During The War Of Resistance Against Japan(1937-1945)

During the period of Republic of China,the overseas Chinese affairs developmentdepends on political and party, two parallel propulsion system. Current academiccircles of Republic of China's overseas Chinese Affairs Research are usuallyconducted against the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission based on thegovernment system, yet pay less attention to the overseas Chinese Affairs of overseasdepartment of KMT and its overseas organization which dominated in the overseasChinese affairs of Republic of China. This thesis takes the overseas Chinese activitiesof overseas department of KMT as the object and selects the period of the War ofResistance Against Japan which is great significant to the overseas Chinese affairs asthe topic. It focuses on the close relationship between the overseas department andoverseas organizations and overseas Chinese, overseas Chinese affairs of theKuomintang party,, and summarizes the development of the overseas Chinese affairs,the evolution of Overseas Department, and etc. Also, it serves as an exploration of theoverseas affairs of the overseas department in details and an objective valuation ofpros and cons of overseas department of overseas affairs in the wartime for aninspiration and reference of current overseas Chinese affairs.
