| As human beings have entered 21st century, there has been more concern about new type drug abuse and new type drug related crimes. The governments all over the world have tried their best to prevent and attack these problems. However, the new type drug abuse and crimes haven't been eliminated. Moreover, these problems have the tendency to become worse and worse, because of different thoughts and concepts and the strong desire for a wealth of financial benefits.In China, with the influence of varies international drug related crimes, the traditional drugs such as heroin has not been fundamentally prevented. Besides this, we have to face the intractable problem, which is the new type drug related crimes are getting more and more, which have caused great harm to drug addicts'health physically and mentally. What is more, drug manufactures, drug trafficking and drug abuse have caused a series of serious social problems, which destroyed social stabilization and prevented social development.Recent years, the Public Security Agency and the Administrations of Justice have dealt with many drug related cases, and have penalized many criminals, which have made great positive influence on the current situations. Nevertheless, affected by many factors, the illegal criminal activities have not been fundamentally prohibited. There are some worse tendencies in drug abuse. Especially in recent years, new type drugs have taken the place of traditional drugs. Drug related crimes and drug abuse have spread very fast in some areas. As the society and culture have developed and many people have changed their mind because of the incoming western life styles, some people treat drugs as a kind of entertainment, which could prove their high level of consumptions. The tremendous demand and financial benefits directly lead to the drug related crimes. The author of this essay deeply researched and surveyed some cases between 2007 and 2010, which were handled by a higher and a lower inspection authorities. The author systematically compared and analyzed the initial data and materials. According to the analysis, the author listed the characteristics and problems of new type drug related crimes. Then forecast the trend of development in the coming years, and showed us the way to solve the problems. Moreover, the author intensively studied how to attack, prevent, supervise and control new type drug related crimes.There are four parts in this essay. The first part introduced the definition of new type drugs, and compared it with the traditional drugs. In the second part, the author analyzed the relative data of drug related cases handled by two inspection authorities between 2007 and 2010. On the basis of the data mentioned in the second part, in the third part, the author analyzed the current situation of new type drug related crimes. In the last part, according to the real working situation of the inspection authority, the author did some empirical studies on how to comprehensively deal with the new type drug related crimes in the future. |
