With the steady increase of China's comprehensive national strength, China will face more and more challenges and opportunities in the development process. In this situation, taking what kind of international strategy to protect china's interests and create a new situation of china'international environment meanwhile have become the major problem.Deng Xiaoping's international strategic thoughts have played an active role in creating china's political, economic, cultural and diplomatic situation. On the theme of the times and trends the world development, Deng Xiaoping's thoughts that peace and development are the themes of the times and world pattern develops toward the multi-levels. Facing the change and development of the world, Deng Xiaoping put forward the international strategies and domestic policies response to it. These thoughts created a peace and development environment of international and domestic for china. In the new era, faced with the new situation of international and domestic, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao keep pace with the times. They have developed new international strategic thoughts on the basis of Deng Xiaoping's thoughts. Jiang Zemin has put forward the new security concept that peace and development are the themes of the times and the thought that the world is diversity.
