Marx Oriental Society Theory And Think Again

Marxist Theory on Oriental Society, as an important component of Marxist theory, is not only the brilliant and outstanding Marxist ideology, but also a valuable asset Marx has left to future generations. The Theory on Oriental Society is relative to the Theory on Western Society and the latter one is the source of the former one, while the former is the development of the latter. Marx finds out the basic characteristics and rules of social development of Oriental countries by putting developed Western capitalist countries and backward Oriental countries together and making a contrastive research between the two groups, and thus comes to the historical conclusion that there is the unity of diversity and identity during the development of human societies, and Socialism is bound to replace capitalism. Marx takes an important step in the research on the historical development of backward Oriental countries replacing capitalism according to the basic rules of historical development of human societies, and especially based on the rapid development of the socialist movements all over the world, which makes him prominent in the history of international communist movements. So far, many domestic and foreign scholars have made a lot of researches on Marxist Theory on Oriental Society from different perspectives, with the appearance of a number of correct and profound insights. These insights bring a great inspiration to me which leads me to think about the Theory on Oriental Society. Through the sorting out of the process of formation and development of the Theory on Oriental Society, I have got a clear understanding of this theoretical system, and sensed the strong vitality and contemporary values of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society, especially its important theoretical guidance to the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part talks about the forming conditions for Marxist Theory on Oriental Society from several perspectives including its historical background, theoretical terms, and practical basis; the second part is the formation and construction of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society. The author makes a research on the original content of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society from several perspectives including Marx's analysis of Oriental societies, Asiatic mode of production theory, and the concept of crossing over the "Crafting Gorge" of capitalism; the third part is about the plenteousness and development of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society by discussing the systematism of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society from several perspectives including the Engels' improvement of Theory on Oriental Society, new development of Theory on Oriental Society by the Soviet Communists, and the recognition Theory on Oriental Society by the Chinese Communists; the fourth part is about the guidance of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society to Chinese revolution and construction. This paper intends to study and explore the guidance of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society to Chinese revolution, reform and development from several perspectives including the inspiration of the research methodology of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society to China, the application of Marx's Theory Crossing over the "Crafting Gorge" in Chinese revolution and construction, the contemporary value of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society on the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the theory in the primary stage of Socialism as the era interpretation of Marxist Theory on Oriental Society.
