Eurasian doctrine which is an important academic trend is born in the1920s during the Russianintellectuals who are lived abroad. After the October Revolution, the Eurasian doctrine situation risegradually, twists and turns in the development of the late forties tend to disappear. After thedisintegration of the Soviet Union along with the nineties, this trend has revived gradually, and hasextensive and loyal followers. As an important school of thought Eurasian doctrine return to Russiaonce again, and Russia's domestic and foreign produced a series of significant impact. Eurasianideology have shown that the theory and practice studies a series of ideological Eurasian doctrine natureof Russia's rich historical heritage under the guidance in many areas, the core issue is how to explore anew path of development for Russia.After Putin came back to the power, he put forward the concept of the Russian spirit, and hebelieved that Russia should vigorously promote" pragmatic patriotism", which is also a nationalrenaissance in the important first step. Shaping Russia's conception of national interests can be calledthat which could be ensured Russia revival of spiritual power. During Putin government, the newdevelopment of Eurasian doctrine's new content and ideas as the representative of the Du Eurasiandevelops to meet the political needs of the times in Russia. This period Russia's foreign policy andadhere are both taking the East and West of Russia to develop into a third way, which is based on theRussian national history and culture of accumulation, the embracing of the outstanding achievements ofEastern and Western civilizations, and make full use of geographical of Russia, take the geopoliticaladvantage, and get rid of the Cold War mentality. On this basis, Russian would be taken a good greatpower road to recovery.
