Narrative as a method was introduced into educational field,which attract more and more scholars'attention and exploration by itself endogenous glamour that focus on the meaning and value of human experience. Whatever in China or abroad, educational narrative research has achieved some preliminary achievements and brings new horizons for educational research and teaching especially teachers'development.Narrative research brings a new path for education, but how should we understand it? By reading some papers about"educational narrative research", I found: Educational narrative is a narrator's speech ACTS and expression of their feelings. However, China's educational narrative research met some practical difficulties during its development process, such as narrative superficiality, lack of depth of understanding and interpretation. Consequently, Education narrative becomes telling story simply, the narrative conclusions and interpretation is just a broad explanation, and the narrator does not bring about real reflection, just express feelings and tell stories but does not produce real action.J.R.Searle developed a highly original and influential method for language research in the philosophy of language and a theory of intentionality. He think of intentionality as a characteristic which point or refer to things or state in the external world. The fulfillment of human speech ACTS is necessarily the expression of the corresponding intentional state. So, intentionality become the bridge between mind, language and world.According to the suitability between them, I apply the method of logistic analysis and hope I can excavate the real dominant factors and its relationship which narrator can express his or her feelings, find the real potential problems behind the story, and then seek out a solution by the intentionality analysis to the education narrative text. Meanwhile, I put forward a perspective of interpretation, and hope bring a little enlightenment to teachers, researchers, even readers.There are five parts in this thesis. Part 1, Forward (chapter 1), introduced this study's origin, meaning and value. Part 2 (chapter 2), Literature review, defined some relative concepts and introduced the development of education narrative research and text. Part 3 (chapter 3), introduced how to choose the methodology and research object and the suitability between them and Principles, strategies, steps and norms about education narrative text's interpretation. Part 4 (chapter 4), analysis and interpretation to two example. Part 5 (chapter 5), discuss and reflect.This study conclude: The analysis and interpretation to educational narrative text should have certain intentionality standard; Intentionality analysis method can find the deeper meaning and problems hiding in the educational narrative text;This method is not the analysis of pure language forms, but the analysis in the specific context; This method eliminates the previous view on which people think of narrative research as subjectivity and lack of certain reliability and validity.
