Concept change teaching has becomes the mainstream of science teaching abroad. How to implement the effective concept change teaching is a new research subject under the background of new curriculum reform. Cognitive conflict is the foundation of concept change teaching. but the research about cognitive conflict on physics teaching is few. I want that this paper can help to improve the middle school physics teaching, and promote new curriculum concept changing.This paper summarizes the theory of cognitive conflict, and analyzes the classification of cognitive conflict. The paper has displayed how to use the concept map detective students' cognition structure and implement cognitive conflict strategy teach students. It has discussed experiment teaching application of cognitive conflict teaching strategy in the physics teaching about new class beginning, rules teaching, exercises teaching. At the end, paper has proposed general process of using the cognitive conflict strategy in physics teaching. The first step, use concept map detect students' cognitive structure. The second step, find the connection between the old and new knowledge. The third step, set question circumstances and caused cognitive conflict. The fourth step let the students with problems and interest into learning. The fifth step, consolidate new balance. At last, use concept map to test students' cognitive structure change and prepare for the next step teaching.
