Postmodern thinking focus on destructing the authority, clearing up the responsibility, banishing the ideal, and promoting the pluralism which caused the traditional value standard gradually invalid, as a result, partial college students' political view confused, their ideal dropped, their value view imbalanced, behavior alienated, and they pursue to enjoy, give up their national identity and historical mission, which seriously threatens the construction of the socialist core value system among college students, so we must face up to the threaten of the postmodern thinking to the education of college students for the socialist core value system, identify the ideology criticism of the postmodern current, strengthen students' Marxism faith, get rid of the drawback of abandoning ideal exposed by the postmodern thinking, confirm students' common ideals, get out of the postmodern predicament to cultivate and carry forward the national spirit and the times spirit, condense mental force, reject the ethical relativism of the postmodern thinking, set a new ethical standard among the college students.It is the critical and reflective spirit, initiative spirit, forgiving spirit, which is inherent by the postmodern thinking, while enable the students' horizon to be broaden, their right and value awareness to be awakened, encourage the students to struggle against the fetter of the traditional authority, and forge ahead, it also provide us a new view on consider questions. Especially the positive postmodern ideas on education, if used rightly, it will be benefit to construct the socialist core value system among college students. Based on this we can make full use of its positive factor, resolutely prevent its negative impact, innovate educational philosophy, update the educational content and educational way, change the educational route, and give service to the college students' socialist core value system education.
