Research On Influencing Factors Of Teacher's Academic Behavior In Universities And Colleges

Universities and colleges, places to explore knowledge, are leading the development of academic. Teachers, the most important role in university, are responsible for the heritage and development of university. Academic behavior, main performance of teachers , has a direct impact on the development of university and the implementation of academic responsibility in university.The paper begins with the related research on teacher's academic behavior. Through combining theoretical analysis with the authentic proof of investigation in universities in Jiangxi Province, this paper explores the status of teacher's academic behavior and the influencing factors on teacher's academic behavior. In this part, author analyzed the status and influencing factors of teacher's academic behavior by combining investigation and research of other scholars. The influencing factor can be divided into two aspects: individual factors and surroundings. In terms of individual, teaching experience, title, the academic ability, income of family, vales and belief in teachers are playing important roles. As for as surroundings concerned, developmental grogram, management system, leadership in University are functional. Besides, community management and supervision in the country , the returns of academic competition in the market and social values are also very important.Partâ…£: Suggestions of the research. According to conclusion of the research, some advices are given on how to improve the teacher's academic behavior from the view of institution, culture and academic personality. On institution, the study proposes to improve legislation and build up academic management system in the nation , set up fair, just, free and competitive system for university teachers; To culture, the study proposes to form an academic culture both in the country and in the university. In terms of academic personality, some suggestions are proposed to reshape the academic personality from three dimensions : nation, university and teachers themselves.
