National Unity Education To College Students Of Corps Universities And It's Countermeasures Case

University is an important part of carrying out the national unity education, however, academic circles concentrate their attention on the primary and secondary schools. The national unity education of universities is the continuation for the teen-agers accepting the national unity education, so it is the same strain to the national unity education of primary and secondary schools. Therefore, universities as an important part in the chain of national unity education can not be ignored. Corps universities are located in the minority region of XinJiang province in China, which have the obligation to carry out the national unity education well as universities and have the responsibility to play the action of promoting the national unity as the Corps organization. Therefore, to understand the status and problems of the national unity education to college students on the basis of sorting out the basic idea of national unity of Marxism-Leninism and the theories about ideological and political education and making researches on the national unity education to college students of Corps universities, then to put forward some suggestions in order to improve its development.This article is divided into five parts:The first part, introduction. This part mainly introduces the background and significance of the research, has an overview of the research status related to the national unity education to college students and introduces the basic methods used in this study.The second part, Corps universities and national unity education.This part defines the meaning of national unity and national unity education, expounds the basic contents, the main objectives, functions of the national unity education and the functions of corps universities to national unity, and sorts out its theoretical basis.The third part, the analysis over the status of the national unity education to college students of Corps universities.This part takes the Shihezi University for example,analyses the survey of the status of the national unity education to college students so as to understand its achievement and problems.The fourth part, the analysis about the problems of the national unity education to college students of Corps universities.The reasons are mainly from the educators, the educated, the educational process, the social attribution and other aspects.The fifth part, the way to further enhance the national unity education to college students of Corps universities.This part puts forward corresponding countermeasures according to its problems. It is mainly related to four aspects:the problems that needed attention, enriching the content of education, improving the teaching effectiveness and the ways that discovered.
