Research On The Financing System For Poverty-stricken College Students In Colleges And Universities

The poverty-stricken college students are causing concern. In old days the government practiced all kinds of steps such as scholarship, loan, financial aid, subsidize, reduce tuition, tuition-fee and so on, to help the poor student to resolve the trouble in living which obtained effects in some degree. The problem of the poverty-stricken college students had became increasingly severe. Agricultural universities have special status in high education of China. Research on the financing system of Northwest A&F University has important theoretical value and guidance significance to the other agricultural universities.Through multiple research methods, for example, consulting documents and data, sending questionnaires, case research, studying the poverty-stricken college students in Northwest A&F University, this essay discussed the financing system of the university.Firstly: advanced the research background, goals, significance, introduced the study of history about the financing problem, as well as the illustration of the approaches and methods.The second part: defined concepts of the poverty and the poverty-stricken college students, analysed the cause of the poverty-stricken college students from the four aspects and classified the financing form.The three part: introduced the financing system, learning and living of condition poverty-stricken students in Northwest A&F University according to the result of the questionnaires and case interview,and evaluated the financing system of Northwest A&F University .The four part: tackled the main problem from six aspects, such as, the endorsement of poverty-stricken college students, the financial ways, the defective Government-subsidized Student Loan, the limited work-study fund and job, the psychological problems of poverty-stricken college students, the little charity culture and atmosphere.The five part; give suggestion to these problems and the solution to the financing system of Northwest A&F University.
