As a phenomenon, the teachers'understanding of curriculum exists in the educational practice objectively. But under the control of instrumental rationality, the teachers'understanding of curriculum, just treated as an instrument about achieving curriculum aim has been ignored own real value by people who excessively pursue the correct methods of fulfilling the teachers'understanding curriculum. In modern times, as a new hermeneutical development, philosophical hermeneutics reverses to the discussion of ontology on the essence of understanding. According to the view of ontology, understanding wouldn't be treated as a cognition instrument any more , but a fundamental mode about human existence, and its final aim is achieving the generation of meaning and rebuilding the spiritual world of understanders. This paper would focus on exploring the original question"how to realize the teachers'understanding curriculum", and rarely concentrate on actualizing the correct methods of it. Based on the perspective of philosophical hermeneutics, the teachers'understanding curriculum, not only as a cognition instrument, but also as an important existent way of teacher's life, which own real value can construct the emotional bond between teachers and students and their spiritual world. The foresight a teacher owns constitutes the basis and prerequisite for them to understand the curriculum and"Horizon fusion"is a process in which teachers comprehend the course, it is achieved through the dialogue among the teacher, textbooks and his students. The teachers'understanding curriculum is finally ended in the generation of the meaning of curriculum. Therefore, the standard for generating the meaning is also the yardstick of a teacher's effective understanding curriculum.
