Modeling And Analysis Of Higher Education Quality Improving System Based On Engineering Cybernetics

Quality Assurance and Improvement is critical to higher education, however, the debate on how to improve the quality still rages on in academic. Considering the background of higher education in China with fast development, obviously expansion and context of popularized environment, The purpose of this paper is introducing a novelty approach to continually improve the quality of higher education using the system control method based on the database of alumni association which is the key source of feedback in the whole closed loop control system. In response to the chanllenges of feasible using of resource of alumni association, a mass of reports and memoirs were congitated to summarize and show us success of the organization of MIT, which owns high reputation of quality in higher education field and popularized alumni association in the world. With various methods and approaches to definition of concepts of quality of higher education, the paper gives out a unique view of the quality, which should be quantitative analysized and compared based on the state variables of the students while in school and after graduates. The state variables, which can be used to valuate the quality of the higher education, are directly relating to not only the original state of the students, but also the enhanced input of resources of the higher education institution. After modeling the whole system, this paper focuses on the process and application of the database, including state variable selecting, correlativity researching, and original information collecting and also corresponding simulation analysis. Last but not the least, the paper indicates several approaches for improving the quality of higher education in both macro and micro systems.
