The rapid development of information communication technology triggered a deep revolution in learning area, resulting in no single studying style any more. The style of learning based on computer network become hot spot in education research. Learning online, with its unique advantage in the education field, receive fast application and development. It has become an important way of learning to use technology of computer network in particular to promote learning. So blended learning is proposed in this context and getting widely used.Blended learning is mainly refers to the organical integration of traditional face-to-face teaching and digital learning, drawing advantages from both traditional teaching and digital learning. It not only brings the leading role of teacher's guidance and monitoring into play, but also fully embodies the subjectivity of the students in learning process, so that it could achieve the optimization of teaching effect. Human performance technology is to use analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation method to improve the performance of both organization and individuals, so as to improve efficiency and achieve the goal. In recent years, the performance technology is starting to be applied in teaching practice and becoming an important branch in education technology research field. Blended learning and performance technology, have a common goal, that is, to improve efficiency and cost saving. Therefore, it is worth studying to research on how to combine blended learning and performance and make use of performance to improve the efficiency of blended learning, so as to realize the efficient and worthy learning.In this study we try to make use of performance to support blended learning. Under the guidance of the related theory of blended learning and performance and on the bases of the literature investigation and analysis, we constructed a new performance-based blended learning mode from the perspective of improving performance with emphasis on valuable learning goals, in order to improve the learning effect and promote mixed learning transfer. In this paper, we firstly used literature research method to define the performance technology of blended learning and made thorough analysis on its theoretical basis and the related research results at home and abroad. On this base, the design model of blended learning based on performance was proposed and combined with college physics experiment courses. We also discussed the key points of the design and model of blended learning. Finally on the bases of physics experiment and practice, we researched its effects with methods of questionnaire, interview and observation etc., and made a conclusion that performance-based blended learning is an effective mode of learning approved by many students. Under the guidance of the performance idea, to choose corresponding blended learning methods, teaching methods and transmission channel according to specific target, to make learners as the main body, and to construct the new teacher-student relationship is an effective way to improve the learners' learning ability, practice ability and innovation ability.
