This paper was based on the research made on S middle school in Sichuan Province. This school has started to explore the characteristics of school management since 1995. After studying Chinese and foreign educators'advanced teaching theories, and combining the realities of the school itself, it puts forward the teaching mode of teaching management on different levels. This teaching mode is good for the development of all the students, and it can meet the different study needs of students. It is good for consolidating the core part of students in class and enhancing the students' interest in study. The teachers'different guidance to different students can promote the balanced and harmonious development of students. But during the practice process of teaching on different levels, it also has some negative effects on normal teaching and students'development. So it is necessary to sum up carefully for perfection of teaching management on different levels.This paper is a combination of theory and practice. After studying the research achievements of educators at home and abroad, through the method of observation,the method of interview and experience summarization it analyzes the reason why S middle school carried out method of teaching on different levels but also analyzes the students'study conditions in different level classes, and the teaching situation of different subjects. It also sums up the effects of teaching management on different levels on students'and teachers'development and psychology after the school carried out the division of different study level classes in one grade as well as the problems it has with monitoring of teaching and evaluation. With the experience of managing a great number of students in one school and the performance of the new curriculum reform, it cancelled the method of high separation of the students in one grade. At the same time, the school lets the students choose different study levels in different subjects which are to be tested in the College Entrance Examination and it starts layered and mobile teaching system in one grade. Connecting the practice of the school and the writer, this paper describes the main contents of layered and mobile teaching management, including teaching management, class management, teacher management, student management, and evaluation management. And it describes the feelings about the advantages and disadvantages of layered and mobile teaching system. After feedback and summary, it puts forward the effective measures of teaching management on different levels.
