Evaluation about college students has been playing an important part in the co llege work, which is also the basis of other colleges works and the quality of tea ching. Academic evaluation has been no exception influenced since information te chnology impacted every field of people's life..From now on, there has been tw o major drawbacks of academic evaluation in college, high-tech cheating and plagi arism behavior.This thesis is built on a comprehensive analysis, which is studied deeply on causes of two major drawbacks of academic evaluation. It is expected that academic evaluation among college students will be further developed and should avoid the drawbacks, along with a more scientific and stable direction to follow.There are four parts in the thesis.First part presents the purpose and significance of the thesis, as well as the theoretical basis, approach and idea. In this part, it also sums up previous researches and analyzes the specialty of this thesis, aiming at making a stable support for it.The second part introduces the challenges and chances that academic evaluation brings, and it also points out the drawbacks of academic evaluation of college students and its manifestations in China.The third part analyzes the reasons of drawbacks from the view of students, teachers, schools, and every class in society. And then, it does a more meaningful research.The fourth part gives some available suggestions about improvement for further academic evaluation based on a deep analysis of the reasons.
