Design And Implementation Of SAS DSRS System

DSRS (Deployment Service Request System) is an information system used by SAS software company to achieve global deployment service management goal. SAS software company is a world famous company engaged in statistical analysis, data mining, business intelligence and other aspects of international software. SAS has more than one global R & D centers located in Europe, Asia Pacific, North America and other places. In order to provide testing users a unified deployment environment management, change the traditional way of manually managing the deployment and improve management efficiency, SAS company decided to develop a unified deployment service request system. DSRS came into being under this context.The thesis is based on the real DSRS system project, describes the system requirements, detail design, the technology used in this system and the system implementation. According to system requirements, it devides the system modules, introduces the specific modules, analyze the software functionality of the system, software structure, database design and the specific hardware configuration. Finally, it introduces the current system in use as well as the specific problems and deficiencies.DSRS system integerates all traditional deployment functions into one system. It uses unified workflow to manage deployment request and deployment task. Meanwhile it realizes the statistics, analyzing and displaying of deployment results, also defines and manages the user's previlleges. It changes the old deployment management totally and solves the problems in the old management flow.
